LFB Communication Rules

Detailed Rules Breakdown

This is a description of each rule above to avoid ambiguity or confusion.

You must only drive vehicles you are trained and authorised to drive. You must also only use equipment you are trained and authorised to use. If you are unsure, please ask a member of the LFB Command Team.

It is important that you display the correct uniform for your role. You must wear the correct uniform, and must not wear the uniform for any other rank. This is to allow LFB Members, partner agencies and the public to identify your role within LFB.

When at an incident, you should be putting your BA (Breathing Apparatus) up, and wearing your mask and helmet. When you are not at an incident, you should remove your BA, mask and helmet.

You are exempt from certain traffic laws (red lights, speed limits, keep right etc.) when responding to an incident. You must use your lights when responding to an incident, and you should use your sirens whenever possible, and always when there are other vehicles or pedestrians in the area. If you are unsure whether people are in the area, use your sirens. Feel free to use your horn when going through junctions to alert drivers nearby where you are as sirens may not signal this.

When attending an incident, you must ensure that the scene is safe and secure. As such, you must put up scene control to ensure that the scene is safe. You must also ensure that an appropriate temporary speed limit is enforced. Speed limits must not be lower than 30mph, as this can cause performance issues for other players.

LFB members must remove all scene control, temporary speed restrictions and traffic management at the earliest safe opportunity. This is to ensure that the road is not blocked for longer than necessary.

Wherever possible, you should be collaborating with our colleagues in the police and ambulance services. This includes, but is not limited to, attending incidents together, and working together to resolve incidents when requested to do so by partner agencies.

As a faction, it is important we are coordinated and working together. As such, we have a meeting each week to discuss any issues you have, ongoing training and development and faction news.

This meeting is mandatory for all faction members. However, we appreciate that sometimes you may not be able to attend. If you are unable to attend, please let a member of the LFB Command Team know as soon as you can, to allow us to plan accordingly.

Meetings are held via the CMG TeamSpeak server (ts.cmgstudios.net), and are held at 4:30PM UK Time each Sunday.

We expect all LFB members to remain professional at all times when on duty and in the public eye. If you are being harassed or abused by another player, contact the police via /999 and report the incident. If you are being harassed or abused by another LFB member, please contact a member of the LFB Command Team.

LFB has a zero-tolerance policy to bullying. If you are feeling bullied or harassed by another player, contact any member of the LFB Command Team. We will investigate the incident impartially and take appropriate action.
