Rules and Regulations
Rules Overview
Only use the vehicle, uniform and equipment you are trained to and is assigned to your rank
Please have TeamSpeak and be able to connect at any point
Break traffic laws only when lights and sirens are turned on
Utilise the traffic menu at all appropriate incidents, but realistically, we should be requesting assistance from PD with this
There is a meeting at 4PM each Sunday via TeamSpeak. You must attend this meeting, or let a member of the LFB Command Team know if you cannot attend.
Remain professional, if somebody is rude to you, call the police for harassment; if needed call an admin but do not be rude or kick off back.
Collaborate and Engage with other server factions (police, ambulance, etc.)
Do not use any LFB tools with the exception of ladders.
When attending calls, your BA (Breathing Apparatus) must be up with a mask and helmet on. When you are not on a call, please remove these.
Remove all speed zones, scene control and LFB tools following any situation.
Do not enter organ or red zones while on duty with LFB.
Out of game engagements will affect your role within LFB. For example, if you are deemed to be unreasonable within the LFB Discord or generally doing something unacceptable but it is not in-game, it will still lead to punishments.
When a member of the police department attempts to pull you over, you are to slow down and advise politely that you are en route to a call and can handle things with the officer afterwards. You are not permitted to fail to stop for police.
You may not be gambling in the casino when clocked on. You may be inside the casino if you are roleplaying, however gambling is not permitted. Gambling as an LFB Member will result in a blacklist and a server ban for Whitelist Abuse and Bad RP.
You may not be intentionally taken hostage. If a continuous theme of hostage taking is noticed, you will be punished accordingly.
You must not take any form of media with illegal items or substances.
How to react when guns are in the area:
- If you have been threatened and initiated on, PANIC.
- If you have seen a crime or see somebody with a gun, radio to PD what is going on and do /999 to give them a ping.
The second you see a weapon, back away from the area and/or leave unless you have been initiated on then comply with demands.
LFB Communication Rules
TeamSpeak should always be installed and setup properly, your roles must always be correct as well.
Using TeamSpeak while clocked on is not required although it is advised to always remain in a Patrol Channel
Being in TeamSpeak while muted in radios is helpful to everyone as you are still reachable and can always be asked to unmute your radio if needed
Remaining muted in LFB in-game radio for long periods, might result in punishment unless a valid reason is presented with evidence
Radios can be stolen from you in-game, being in TeamSpeak will help you as it may seem you don't have a radio on purpose
Extra chatter over radio can be punishable as it should not be used for conversations but quick communication, TeamSpeak should be used for conversations
It is mandatory to have a radio in-game at all times.
Detailed Rules Breakdown
This is a description of each rule above to avoid ambiguity or confusion.
Using vehicles and equipment
You must only drive vehicles you are trained and authorised to drive. You must also only use equipment you are trained and authorised to use. If you are unsure, please ask a member of the LFB Command Team.
Uniform Standards
It is important that you display the correct uniform for your role. You must wear the correct uniform, and must not wear the uniform for any other rank. This is to allow LFB Members, partner agencies and the public to identify your role within LFB.
When at an incident, you should be putting your BA (Breathing Apparatus) up, and wearing your mask and helmet. When you are not at an incident, you should remove your BA, mask and helmet.
Traffic Exemptions
You are exempt from certain traffic laws (red lights, speed limits, keep right etc.) when responding to an incident. You must use your lights when responding to an incident, and you should use your sirens whenever possible, and always when there are other vehicles or pedestrians in the area. If you are unsure whether people are in the area, use your sirens. Feel free to use your horn when going through junctions to alert drivers nearby where you are as sirens may not signal this.
Scene Management & Traffic Control
When attending an incident, you must ensure that the scene is safe and secure. As such, you must put up scene control to ensure that the scene is safe. You must also ensure that an appropriate temporary speed limit is enforced. Speed limits must not be lower than 30mph, as this can cause performance issues for other players.
LFB members must remove all scene control, temporary speed restrictions and traffic management at the earliest safe opportunity. This is to ensure that the road is not blocked for longer than necessary.
Inter-agency Collaboration
Wherever possible, you should be collaborating with our colleagues in the police and ambulance services. This includes, but is not limited to, attending incidents together, and working together to resolve incidents when requested to do so by partner agencies.
Meetings
As a faction, it is important we are coordinated and working together. As such, we have a meeting each week to discuss any issues you have, ongoing training and development and faction news.
This meeting is mandatory for all faction members. However, we appreciate that sometimes you may not be able to attend. If you are unable to attend, please let a member of the LFB Command Team know as soon as you can, to allow us to plan accordingly.
Meetings are held via the CMG TeamSpeak server (ts.cmgstudios.net), and are held at 4:30PM UK Time each Sunday.
Professionalism
We expect all LFB members to remain professional at all times when on duty and in the public eye. If you are being harassed or abused by another player, contact the police via /999 and report the incident. If you are being harassed or abused by another LFB member, please contact a member of the LFB Command Team.
LFB has a zero-tolerance policy to bullying. If you are feeling bullied or harassed by another player, contact any member of the LFB Command Team. We will investigate the incident impartially and take appropriate action.
