Scene Safety

Upon arriving at any scene, the first question is always how do we keep individuals safe? Following the initial response, when you first pull up to a scene you should put down a speed zone. When you first put this down, it should only cover what you need it to and should be as high a speed as is safe for people to drive through safely. If an individual is in the front of your car, ensure your sirens are turned off. Furthermore, you should press the number 8 which will put on red style lighting which will allow your scene to be viewed from a further distance without blinding individuals coming towards your call.

1. Place Speed Zone

2. Sirens

3. EAR

4. Communication to other factions if required

5. Place scene containment

6. Put out the fire

7. Investigate the origins of the fire

8. Remove Scene Containment

9. Remove speed zones
