Head of Fire Academy - Joey T
Deputy of Fire Academy -
LFB Academy are responsible for the basic & advanced trainings of all LFB trainees & future academy members. We make sure that all our members keep a professional mindset and always act friendly towards new members.
All LFB Trainers are taught how to do the basic training which is the first training a new firefighter will go through after joining the London Fire Brigade. All trainers are taught to be professional and helpful when dealing with the new members. Firstly the training teaches the trainee how to use the different LFB menus and tools as well as how to do some basic scene containment. Then the trainer teaches the trainee about some general LFB rules and common server rules. Lastly the trainer follows the trainee along on a 15-20 minute ride along where the trainee proves they have learnt everything the trainer has taught them. You will be the first person to meet all of the new people joining the fire brigade and create a lot of new contacts.
