The London Fire Brigade's Fire Investigation division is one of the primary roleplay divisions of the London Fire Brigade. This division is responsible for the ongoing investigations of fires and primarily investigate and conduct preventative action, such as installing of fire alarms and fire alarm tests at different locations.
The Fire Investigation Division is responsible for the examination of all fire related incidents within the city. Once firefighters have extinguished the fire, it is the important work of Fire Investigators to preserve the scene, take note of any/all pieces of evidence relating to the fire & establishing the origin of the fire itself.
Fire Investigation are tasked with in depth roleplay alongside The Metropolitan Police & NHS to conclude whether the fire was accidental, natural or deliberate. Working with these factions are vital to preventing accidental & natural incidents in the future & to assist PD with legal investigations into deliberate fires such as arson.
Becoming a Fire Investigation specialist will allow you to manage fires more effectively as extended training in this division increases your knowledge & experience when dealing with different types of fires.
